In April of 2007, FSCJ Dramaworks presented Good by C.P. Taylor. Set in Germany at the time when Hitler has just come to power, the play takes place inside the mind of a "good" man, Professor Halder. Unconsciously, this well-meaning scholar is led into participation in the hell that follows, as do the disturbing questions about "good." The rise of National Socialism in Germany should not be regarded as a conspiracy of madmen. Millions of "good" people found themselves in a society spiraling into terrible chaos. It is a play about that period in history, which illuminates the terrors of now.
This show ran at FSCJ's Wilson Center for the Arts April 19-22, 2007.
