2014-15 MAP Year In Review

Summary:: During 2014-15, FSCJ officially launched activities for its new Quality Enhancement Plan: Make a Plan (MAP) for Success. The 2013-14 pilot was successful because many challenges were overcome, including: defining "college ready" in light of legislative changes, providing focus to a wide ranging assessment plan, and adjusting the role of the first year advocate. In the first official year of implementation, the plan continued to evolve to meet the needs of our students and the FSCJ community. Make A Plan for Success has been developed to make a significant positive change to the student learning environment at FSCJ and was approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) as part of FSCJ's successful decennial reaffirmation.
